One of the most gratifying things about LocoMatrix, is that when one gets into a discussion with almost anyone, new ideas keep popping up – one that springs to mind is a game based on the Fantastic Voyage where one moves around a virtual body and has to do things with organs (thanks to Nigel Southern for that).
Yesterday, whilst out walking with friends, we came to the conclusion that the LM platform could be used in a non-game function as an aid for nurses and health visitors when visiting patients – pulling up relevant records and even access information (obviously security issues). In fact it could be used for anyone that visits a location and needs to pull up relevant information.
