“The Maharaja and the Pixel” – rather unhelpful title but an allusion to last week’s palaces event mentioned previously, and yesterday’s meeting (organised by Wired Sussex) with a group of representatives from Indian games companies. They were on a pan-UK tour visiting various cities including London, Liverpool and Manchester but starting in Brighton.
The afternoon session comprised presentations from, firstly, LittleLoud and then me. This was followed by a very interesting conversation on the steady progress of location-based gaming.
(Apropos of very little, this was the first time I had been to meeting at the fairly new MyHotel, and first impressions were that it has a far better atmosphere than the Jurys Inn). Interestingly, the respective websites reflect that image rather well.)
